The Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB/Board) has received Application No. 1752042 (Application).

Description of the Application
ConocoPhillips Canada Operations Ltd. (ConocoPhillips) has applied, pursuant to Section 80 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act (OGCA), for an order prescribing that all tracts within the drilling spacing unit comprising Section 7, Township 047, Range 11, West of the 4th Meridian, be operated as a unit for the production of gas from all zones, from the well with the unique identifier 00/14-07-047-11W4.

The applicant has requested, among other things, that operating costs and revenues under the pooling order be allocated on a tract-area basis and that it be named operator of the well(s) to be produced. The applicant has not requested the equalization of drilling and completion costs or that any penalty be imposed against actual drilling and completion costs.

Contents of a Submission
Submissions objecting to an application should indicate
(a) the right of the person that may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proposed application;
(b) the manner in which the right may be directly and adversely affected by a decision of the Board on the proposed application;
(c) the location of the land, residence, or activity of the person in relation to the location of the energy resource that is the subject of the proposed application; and
(d) the name, address in Alberta, telephone number, fax number, if any, and if available, an e-mail address of the person.

Compensation Issues
Submissions relating exclusively to compensation for land usage are not dealt with by the ERCB and should be referred to the Alberta Surface Rights Board.

Applications for Confidentiality
Section 13 of the Energy Resources Conservation Board Rules of Practice (Rules of Practice) requires that all documents filed in respect of this proceeding must be placed on the public record. However, any party may apply for confidentiality of information under Section 13(2). Any application under Section 13(2) must be copied to the other parties to the proceeding. Any application seeking confidentiality under Section 13 of the Rules of Practice must include the reasons for the request, including the specific harm that would result if the information were placed on the public record.The Board may grant a request for confidentiality on any terms it considers appropriate, subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
