On March 24, 2014, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) issued a notice of hearing on Application No. 1764137. The AER received requests to participate in response to that notice and will hold a public hearing at the Sherwood Park Hotel, 2100 Premier Way, Sherwood Park, Alberta, starting on June 10, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. All parties must be present to register at the start of the hearing.

Description of the Application
Inter Pipeline Ltd. has applied under part 4 of the Pipeline Act for approval to construct and operate a pipeline to transport low-vapour-pressure condensate (diluent) from a new Edmonton pump station at Legal Subdivision (LSD) 16, Section 6, Township 53, Range 23, West of the 4th Meridian to the existing Lamont pump station tie-in point at LSD 9-11-56-21W4M. The proposed pipeline would be about 51.5 kilometres long with a maximum outside diameter of 609.6 millimetres and have a maximum hydrogen sulphide concentration of 2.70 moles per kilomole (0.27 per cent).
