Notice of Application (Revised)
Applications 1885901, etc.
Shell Canada Limited
Approval Transfer Request

The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) has received applications under the Oil Sands Conservation Act (OSCA), and the Water Act (WA) for the transfer of the approvals and licences associated with the Cliffdale Cold Oil Production Project and the Peace River Complex Project. The AER is reviewing the applications. The AER previously issued a notice of application in relation to these applications dated April 28, 2017. That notice included an incorrect reference to an Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act application, an incorrect deadline for submitting a statement of concern, and did not contain all the WA application numbers.

This revised notice of application corrects and supersedes the previously issued notice. The application numbers that have been added are indicated in bold in the table below.

Description of the Applications
Shell Canada Limited has applied to the AER for the transfer to Canadian Natural Upgrading Limited of the WA licence for the Cliffdale Cold Oil Production Project (application 002-00368115) and the commercial, primary, and experimental approvals; associated Directive 065: Resources Applications for Oil and Gas Reservoirs approvals; and WA approvals for the Peace River Complex Project (see table for application numbers).
