NOTICE OF SCHEDULING OF HEARING
APPLICATIONS NO. 1743497, 1743503, and 1760257
CONOCOPHILLIPS CANADA OPERATIONS LTD.
WILLESDEN GREEN FIELD
On July 26, 2013, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) issued a notice of hearing on Applications No. 1743497, 1743503, and 1760257. The AER received submissions for the hearing and will hold a public hearing of the applications at the Condor Community Hall, Condor Rd, Condor, Alberta, starting on November 13, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. All parties must be present to register at the start of the hearing.
Description of the Applications
ConocoPhillips Canada Operations Ltd. applied under section 2.020 and section 7.001 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Rules for a licence to drill two horizontal wells and construct and operate a multiwell battery at a surface location in Legal Subdivision (LSD) 14 of Section 14, Township 41, Range 5, West of the 5th Meridian. The purpose of the wells would be to obtain gas with no hydrogen sulphide (H2S) content from the Glauconitic Formation. The wellsite facility equipment would consist of two 3-phase separators, two fuel gas scrubbers, two water storage tanks, and two methanol tanks.
The proposed wells and related multiwell battery would be located about 17.5 kilometres north of the town of Leslieville.
