On June 17, 2013, the Responsible Energy Development Act (REDA) was proclaimed, establishing the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). As the successor to the Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB), the AER is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, orderly, and environmentally responsible development of hydrocarbon resources over their entire life cycle.
This bulletin announces the release of the following publications, which have been revised in response to the new legislative framework.
