Energy resource companies operating in Alberta must manage their commingled production as follows:
- Follow the appropriate development entity (DE) order under section 3.051 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Rules (OGCR).
- Self-declare (SD) the commingling in accordance with section 3.051(2) of the OGCR.
- Submit an application for commingled production that follows Directive 065: Resources Applications for Oil and Gas Reservoirs.
