Every decision we issue is governed by provincial legislation. We decide on approvals for licences, leases, authorizations, and certificates. The following table lists
- the type of decisions can be appealed,
- who is eligible to file a request for an appeal, and
- the deadline to make the request.

* An eligible person is
- any person who is directly and adversely affected by a decision of the AER under an energy resource enactment,
- any person who is permitted under the specified enactments to file a notice of appeal under those enactments, or
- any other person described in the regulation
