Fluid Production

Density is the primary characteristic when determining whether a liquid is classified as a gas or oil. In Alberta, producers extract oil of varying densities from condensate to bitumen.

Every year, the AER issues Alberta Energy Outlook, which provides independent and comprehensive information on the state of reserves and the supply and demand outlook for Alberta's diverse energy resources.

In addition to fluid production volumes in the information below, the Data Hub also includes information on gas production volumes.
