Purpose of this Directive
This directive defines the production audit protocols used by the AER when conducting production audits of oil and gas production facilities, gas plants, and injection systems. It is designed to ensure that AER auditors conduct these audits in a consistent manner throughout Alberta.
The directive is made available to industry to enhance understanding and communication between production accounting and operating personnel in industry and AER staff.
Changes made to this directive in June 2011 were to reflect changes made to the April 2011 edition of Directive 017. Sections no longer required have been grayed out.
