On October 17, 2024, we will release new functionality to the OneStop platform.
Record of Site Condition (RoSC)
Notice of Contamination, a new submission intent, is being added to the RoSC module to meet release reporting requirements under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, section 111 and Release Reporting Regulation, section 4. The Notice of Contamination may be used for unreported, lower-risk substance releases that are not related to an ongoing incident. For all other cases, applicants must file their release reports by calling the 24-hour Energy and Environmental Response Line at 1-800-222-6514.
Other changes to the RoSC module include the following:
All RoSC submissions must include a new mapping component for related entities.
Environmental professionals and authorized representatives can now receive RoSC supplemental information requests (SIRs).
OneStop will automatically fill in the environmental professional contact information fields.
Improved navigation for better clarity.
Manual 018 Public Lands Application
Manual 018 Public Lands Application is being updated to reflect minor enhancements in the public lands module, policy changes, and increased clarity. The manual will be made available on our website at the end of October.
Other Enhancements and Fixes
To implement the latest changes to OneStop, we will schedule a system outage and post the notice on our website, www.aer.ca > Systems and Tools > OneStop > OneStop landing page.
Details on other enhancements and fixes will be made available at the time of release in “What’s New in OneStop,” found on the OneStop landing page under “Enhancements, Fixes, and Bulletins.”
Training and Support Materials
After the release, we will hold information sessions to review new RoSC functionality and enhancements. Registration details can be found on the AER Events page.
We will also post updated RoSC quick reference guides (QRGs) and Manual 018 Public Lands Application on www.aer.ca > Systems & Tools > OneStop > OneStop Help.
If you have questions about OneStop or this bulletin, contact the AER’s Customer Contact Centre by phone at 403-297-8311 (1-855-297-8311 toll free) or by email at inquiries@aer.ca.
