Energy companies pursuing commingled production in Alberta must follow commingling orders (MU orders) for specific fields. These orders specify the pools and wells where production may be commingled in a wellbore.
Development Entity Orders
A development entity order applies to multiple formations in a specific area from which gas production may be commingled in a wellbore subject to section 3.051 of the Oil and Gas Conservation Rules and Directive 065: Resources Applications for Oil and Gas Reservoirs.
